No Videos today. I lost my voice to a cold.

Risk Off

Still nothing new going on in the Canadian market.

If we look at what's working right now, it is all the Risk Off trades.

While the Risk Off stocks are holding the TSX up, we are also seeing a spike in 52 week lows.

Those would be the Risk On Stocks. The fun stocks, the stocks we love to trade.

Speaking of Risk Off, the Venture Exchange is now back to where it was in July 2009.

So right now, it's the Butcher, the Baker, and the t shirt maker.

Commodity based stocks do not always move in sync with the underlying commodity.

Sometimes they do, and some times they don't.

Right now copper, gold and silver stocks are all tracking the underlying commodities.

While Energy stocks, are standing back and watching as Crude Oil and Nat Gas move higher.

In my personal portfolio, I am still long 3, and short 3, with Goldcorp generating a new Sell Signal on Tuesday.

All for now.
